THE MLC bowlers clinched the Daciba-SBC Pamaskong Handog Bowling Tournament 2016 title Thursday evening, December 15, at the Mega Dover Lanes Bowling Center in Davao City.
The MLC bowlers bested team Jonzlibz, 580-567, in the step-the-ladder finals to annex the P15,000 champion purse of the event organized by the Davao City Bowlers Association (Daciba) and the Sunday Bowlers Club (SBC).
The MLC, composed of Ipet Chua, Jet Isturis, Ivo Isturis, Boy Detuya, Bobby Fordaliza, James Bardon and Jerson Tamayo, however, also won the highest team single with a total of 636 pinfalls to grab the additional P1,000 cash prize.
Maftractors placed third after eking out victory over Diagold Pawnshop, 550-537.
Sensen Maligan of Mighty Bowlers bagged the highest individual single award after rolling 154 pins while the highest pinning award went to Alex Alalunay of Homer having scored 99.
Jonzlibz pocketed P10,000 while Maftractor and Diagold received P7,500 and P5,500, respectively.
The individual winners took home P500 each.
