MORE than 350 runners from Northern Mindanao joined the 1st YMCA Run for Scholars held last Sunday along the streets of Cagayan de Oro city.
The runners included YMCA president Gonzalo Gesta Jr. and YMCA General Secretary Sol Marie Ucab who expressed thanks to the participants and the race sponsors.
The race was organized by Run Bizion Events Co., and sponsored by Philusa products and Del Monte Philippines Inc to raise funds for the YMCA scholars.
Special awards were also given to the BDO Velez Branch, Department of Public Works and Highways District 1 Sub-Office, and Court of Appeals-Mindanao Station for sending the most number of runners, respectively.
