THE most wanted person in Badian town, Cebu, was caught, after four years, by the police at 6 a.m. on Friday, August 4.
Arrested was Rolando Cabrera Purgatorio, 33.
Senior Inspector Bonifacio Pareja, town police chief, said they caught Purgatorio after receiving a tip about his presence in Barangay Malabago.
The arresting team spotted Purgatorio, a motorcycle-for-hire driver, ferrying passengers in the village.
Pareja said Purgatorio is facing a rape case pending before Barili Regional Trial Court Branch 60 Judge Leopoldo Cañete, who issued the warrant of arrest on May 27, 2013.
Purgatorio will be turned over to the court.(KAL)
