A MOTORCYCLE driver died in a road accident at Barangay Recreo in Pontevedra town, Negros Occidental Monday.
Police identified the fatality as Desmon Hufancia, 29, of Barangay Buenavista Gibong, Pontevedra.
Investigation showed the victim’s motorcycle was hit by a Mitsubishi L3 passenger jeepney driven by Joregene Agapin, 40, of Barangay Alijis, Bacolod City, who failed to overtake.
The victim was rushed to the Valladolid District Hospital, where he was declared dead.
Agapin was arrested by the town police and will face charges. (MAP)
