A SPECIAL investigator of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) in Bacolod City filed a complaint for grave threat two days after the shooting incident that happened in Barangay Bata on October 6.
Senior Inspector Larry Teovisio, head of Police Station 3, said Tuesday NBI special investigator Modesto Cajita alleged that the front tire of his Mitsubishi Montero Sport was shot by four unidentified men on board a Mitsubishi Pajero.
Cajita added that he was also threatened at gunpoint and was left alone when he was identified by the assailants as a member of the NBI, Teovisio added.
The assailants also fired at a Toyota Innova near a residential village along Lacson Street.
Teovisio said they have yet to determine the identities of the passengers of the Pajero and Innova.
After the shooting incident, policemen recovered seven fired cartridges of M16, a live ammunition of 7.62 caliber, and 14 bullets of 9 mm.
Teovisio said Cajita also submitted a statement that can help the police in the investigation.
“We are open to any additional information he can tell us,” he added.
