ONCE again the highlight of the traditional Halloween celebration at Cebu Country Club (CCC) was the costume parade/competition right after the sumptuous buffet dinner. Cash prizes were at stake for three categories: Individual, Couple and Group. They were judged according to two criteria: Most Original and the Most Halloween-inspired.
On the frontline were the CCC board of directors led by president Edward Go and activities chairman Gerry Sta. Ana who took charge of the night’s happening. In attendance were secretary Jiji Gullas, treasurer Joe Soberano, golf chair Jayjay Neri and house chair Ruben Almendras. Giving their invaluable assistance were Rosebud Sala who always conceptualizes the decor and CCC operations manager Chona Mendoza.
Spicing up the affair was the raffling off of door prizes and Halloween trivia dished out by program emcee Padma Mangharam Siap. The evening’s luckiest guest was Rosemarie Dakay who won the grand prize—a 48-inch Sony Bravia TV.
