THE Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) has already allowed Thursday sea travel following the improvement of the weather.
PCG spokesperson Armand Balilo said sea vessels going to Mindoro, Romblon and Caticlan--which were stranded in the Batangas port due to bad weather caused by supertyphoon Lawin--were already allowed to travel.
He said situation in several ports in the Bicol region is also back to normal as the weather shows improvement.
Sea vessels from Manila to Visayas are also back to normal, Balilo said.
Balilo said as of noontime, stranded passengers were down to 528, where 470 are in several ports in Southern Tagalog, 30 in the North eastern Luzon, and 20 in Bicol.
On Wednesday, the PCG disallowed sea ventures due to bad weather. (Sunnex)
