Oro football association to hold trials on Saturday Jack Biantan

LOCAL Football Association (FA) Mocagesco will hold trials on Saturday, February 11 at 8 to 11 a.m. to complete the four teams that will join the Philippine Football Federation (PFF) Festival of Football on March 3 to 5 in Valencia City, Bukidnon.

Local FA president Percy Guarin Tuesday said that Mocagesco technical director Don Deriquito will hold the trials to determine the players that will compete in the Boys Under-13 (U13) (born January 1, 2004 to December 31, 2005) Boys U15 (born January 1, 2002 to December 31, 2003), Girls U13 (born January 1, 2004 to December 31, 2005) and Girls U15 (born January 1, 2002 to December 31, 2003).

Interested young footballers are advised to come on time for the trials with their complete football gears.

The Valencia tournament will be a 9-Aside for U13 players and 11-Aside for U15 players.

Players are also advised to bring their NSO birth certificates and ID pictures.

Only 16 players from each categories will be selected for the tournament on March 3 to 5 at the PFF Training Center in Valencia City, Bukidnon.

The Mocagesco RFA team will compete against teams from Iligan-Lanao del Norte, Davao, and Zamboanga.

Teams are expected to arrive in Valencia by 3 p.m. on March 3. They will be housed in the PFF Training Center.

Coaches meeting will start at 5 p.m. while the proper competitions will be the following day with the opening ceremony set at 7 a.m. The first match is set at 7:30 a.m. until Sunday afternoon.

The Festival of Football is a talent identification program of the PFF to select players for the national youth teams that will compete in various international competitions this year.
