P1-M infra projects turned over to 3 MisOr villages

THE Provincial Government of Misamis Oriental has turned over P1.05 million worth of infrastructure projects to three villages in Misamis Oriental.

Barangay 3 in Gingoog City received P300,00 check to complete the construction of the Phase 3 of its village hall, a project initiated by

the province in 2014.

Also, Bauk-Bauk village in Balingoan town received a total of P600,000 for the road concreting, while Mabini village in Binuangan received P150,000 to purchase a lot intended for its daycare center and multi-purpose hall.

The village beneficiaries also accepted sports equipment, medial apparatus, medicines, hygiene kits, vegetable seeds, sacks of corn seeds, and gallons of paints from the province.

The distribution of aid is under the village Bambi (Bililhon and Magatag Baryuhanong Ipalambo) program of this administration, which aims to provide identified projects of the grassroots sector.

Last year, the village Bambi program turned over a total of P69 million for some 186 development projects in the different towns of Misamis Oriental.

The projects included concreting of roads and construction of multi-purpose buildings, health centers, village hall, and a covered court.

The first district of Misamis Oriental received a total of 28 million worth of projects while the second district P36 million intended for its projects.
