A TOTAL of P400,000 worth of methamphetamine hydrochloride locally known as shabu were seized in separate drug busts in Negros Occidental in the past two days.
In Himamaylan City, three persons, including a female, were arrested at Sitio Balisong, Barangay Libacao on Tuesday.
Police identified the target subject as Jeserie Tabasa, 28, who is under the city’s street and local target drugs list. She yielded an estimated 35 grams of shabu valued at P350,000.
Also arrested were Jason Patrick Pamitalan, 20, who was caught in a “pot session” inside the suspected drug den, and Leona Monsanto, 34.
Police recovered from Tabasa eight sachets of suspected shabu, the P500 marked money, and drug paraphernalia.
In Bacolod City, two men were collared by police in separate drug bust that led to the recovery of P50,000 worth of illegal drugs.
Ryan Golero was arrested while the target subject Nido Salazar escaped when police operatives of Police Station 2 raided Salazar’s house at Barangay 3 on Wednesday.
Chief Inspector Benedicto Villarias Jr., head of Police Station 2, said Salazar is believed to be a big supplier of illegal drugs in the barangay.
Police operatives of Police Station 9 also arrested Jonifer Villareal in Barangay Sum-ag, who is a newly-identified drug suspect.

In Salvador Benedicto town, Carlito Borocoy and Prisco Engcoy, were collared by police at Purok Langka, Barangay Bunga on Wednesday, for sale and possession of illegal drugs.
In Kabankalan City, the city police’s 10th drug personality and “most wanted” person was arrested at Purok Ego, Sitio San Juan, Barangay Camugao on Tuesday.
Police identified the suspect as Albert Gonzales, 41, who yielded a sachet of shabu and an improvised tooter when police served him an arrest warrant for theft.
The arrest warrant was issued by former Judge Lorenzo Manaay of Municipal Trial Court in Cities in Kabankalan City on March 19, 1999.
Gonzales threw the illegal drugs away when he noticed the presence of the police near a church.
In Manapla town, watchlist personality Alfie Guarin, 22, of Barangay Punta Salong was arrested after he yielded six sachets of shabu and the P500 marked money.
