OVER half a million worth of illegal drugs were seized from a suspected drug pusher in a drug bust in Sitio Plus, Barangay Inayawan, Cebu City, on Tuesday evening, July 11.
Police identified the suspect as Agustin Cabriles Delfin, who yielded 50 grams of methamphetamine hydrochloride, locally known as "shabu," worth P575,000, during a drug bust at 9:49 p.m., Tuesday.
A caliber .45 pistol, with a silencer and loaded with five bullets, and an airgun were also confiscated from Delfin's possession.
The illegal drugs were contained in one small sachet, five medium packs and a large one.
Delfin will face charges for the violation of Sections 5 and 11, Article 2 of RA 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 and RA 10591 for the illegal possession of firearms and ammunition.
Delfin is currently detained in Pardo Police Station, pending the filing of charges against him. (JOB)
