A 36-YEAR-OLD man was arrrested for allegedly molesting his 12-year-old daughter in Barangay Cogon, Compostela, Cebu, around 1 a.m. Saturday, September 30.
The suspect was caught by the police after he was reported by his sister.
Investigation showed the girl was sleeping in their house when the incident happened.
The girl woke up when she felt someone was touching her private parts.
She was stunned to see her father doing the sexual advances on her.
She got out of bed and told her aunt about it.
The father will be facing complaints for violating Republic Act 7610, or the Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination. (KAL/VoxPop Cebu)
