PAG-IBIG Homes and GJCC Calibration will clash for the title in the FKA AgriChemical Corporation-backed Catalunan Grande Summer League (CGSL) that will resume on Saturday at the Monte Maria Village covered court in Catalunan Grande.
Pag-ibig Homes booked a ticket to the finals after nipping Heights, 83-81, in the semifinals through the heroics of Aldrin Caballes and Tom Miranda who combined for 48 points.
Heights relied on Canor Cortez and Lloyd Tanod-Tanod who totalled 44 baskets.
In the other semifinals game, GJCC Calibrator came from behind to seal a 77-75 victory over El Grande Multi-Purpose Cooperative (EGMPC).
Panes poured in 30 points as Arnold Sison added 17 to help GJCC Calibration recover and secure a spot in the championship.
The EGMPC, meanwhile, leaned on the services of newcomer Bonnie Bohone who canned 38.
Heights and EGMPC will battle for third in the league backed by Davies, The Royal Mandaya Hotel, Tanduay, Pantoja Marketing, Bearing Center and Machinery Inc, Shai and Shab Beauty Salon and Mahugani Security Agency.
