CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga -- Police in complete uniform came trick-or treating kids of a day care center here a few days ahead of the Halloween on October 31.
Trick-or-treating is a customary practice for children on Halloween in many countries. Children in scary costumes travel from house to house in order to ask for treats such as candy (or, in some cultures, money).
Under the leadership of Chief Superintendent Amador Corpus, policemen from different offices and units of the Police Regional Office in Central Luzon treated the kids of the Camp Olivas Day Care Center with loads of candies.
The PRO-Central Luzon Command Group, unit heads and chiefs of offices handed out candies to 66 kids who wore their best Halloween costumes as they stopped on their offices/units.
This “Trick or Treat” is also in line with the 25th National Children’s Month Celebration with the theme “Bata: Iligtas sa Droga!” (Ric Sapnu)
