Phinma to boost presence here

THIS 2018, Phinma Properties targets to have multi-market segments in Davao Region, not just in the affordable market which the Dabawenyos have known them to specialize on.

“People would expect a stronger Phinma, a bolder Phinma, and a Phinma ready to face the challenges ahead. We are very aggressive now because we are trying to build the company and be competitive. That’s the focus. And we will have new projects coming up as well,” said Phinma Properties president and chief operating officer Julian V. Concepcion on the sidelines of their Reloaded Sales Conference 2018 event Wednesday night, February 7.

As he didn’t want to further divulge the details of their upcoming projects, he said they have two horizontal residential developments that will be located in Davao Region. The projects are currently on the advanced stages of planning to make sure they hit the right market.

“Right now, we are in the affordable market in Davao. We plan to have multi-market segments here. So we’re not just going to be in the affordable market, we’re also going to be in the high-end, we’re even going to be into socialized housing. So it’s really different market segments,” said Pete Felix, Phinma Properties Senior Vice President for Operations.

Felix added they see the need to niche and to answer the different gaps that they see in the market. As they venture into other projects in the region in the future, they would not only be solely focused on the affordable segment.

“Our project here is, I think, already known by people that it’s of good quality. It’s well-done. Now we want also to go into those segments to show that we have expertise also. Like in Manila, we have expertise on the higher end. We have projects in Manila now that are doing quite well in the higher end of the market,” Conception added.

When asked how they see their company in five years’ time, given the real estate climate in Davao Region, Felix said they will continue to build more developments all over the region.

“I think it’s booming and the future looks very bright in the real estate market…We will be all over Mindanao [in the next five years] particularly in Davao,” he said.
