SENIOR Inspector Jerry Nacion, chief of La Castellana Municipal Police Station, yesterday said they are still waiting for the results of the paraffin test conducted on Angelo Bibar, the Department of Environment and Natural Resources Office (DENR) who was found dead.
Two other persons were also subjected to the test.
Bibar’s body was found by a utility personnel of Mt. Kanlaon Natural Park (MKNP) Saturday afternoon. He had a gunshot wound in his head. Police investigators recovered a 9mm caliber near his body.
Nacion said the police has covered more than 50 percent of the investigation, but he refused to divulge further details.
“We can have the conclusion on the case once we get the results of the paraffin test today,” he added.(GYM)
