THE Police Station 6 in Bacolod City turned over a four-month-old baby girl to her father after she was abandoned by her own mother in a bakeshop at Barangay Taculing last Friday.
Chief Inspector Jovil Sedel, head of Police Station 6, said they were able to locate the whereabouts of the father, who is working in a call center company.
The man fetched her baby at about 11:30 p.m. that day.
Investigation showed, around 7 p.m., the baby’s mother left her baby to the care of the bakery staff, and borrowed P350 from one of the female workers.
The mother told her that she will get her daughter after four hours, but she failed to return, prompting the female worker to report the incident to the police.
Sedel said the baby was also once left by her mother to a security guard due to personal problems. (GYM)
