THE three-day Negros Occidental Provincial Tourism Fair opened at the Robinsons Place Bacolod Friday, September 23.
The activity, which is part of the Provincial Tourism Week celebration, showcases various tourism products and services of local government units (LGUs).
The fair includes a food tasting section, featuring the province's native delicacies, display of handmade crafts, brochures, and marketing collaterals of major tourism sites.
Participating LGUs include Silay, Victorias, Murcia, Talisay, E.B. Magalona, Bago, San Enrique, Valladolid, Bacolod, Pontevedra, Pulupandan, Manapla, Cadiz, Sagay, San Carlos, Escalante, Don Salvador Benedicto, Toboso, Sipalay, Kabankalan, Candoni, Ilog, and Calatrava.
The tourism fair also includes tour guiding competition and cultural presentations of schools and tourism council members in the exhibit area.
This year's Tourism Week themed “Tourism for All-Promoting Universal Accessibility” runs from September 20 to 29.( EPN)
