GEARED to discover and develop the next generation of athletes to don the Philippine colors in future national and international competitions, the Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) launched the Visayas Open 2018 for aged 22 Under, 16 Under and 12 Under.
This event featuring 15 sports undertaking will be staged in seven localities around the region.
Among the events are badminton, table tennis, tennis, marathon, triathlon, open water swimming, judo, boxing, arnis, karatedo, taekwondo, air rifle, archery, fencing, and weightlifting.
Hosting the event is Naga City in Cebu on June 2 and 3; Tagbilaran City in Bohol on June 9 and 10; followed by Iloilo City on August 11 to 12; Danao City on August 25 to 26; Aklan on October 27 to 28 and Ormoc City on December 1 and 2.
