TO AVOID long lines at the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) main office on Taft Avenue, the Philippine Postal Corporation (PHLPost) has invited the public to go directly inside the Manila Central Post Office building in Liwasang Bonifacio to conveniently transact their NBI clearance.
“There are enough space for the public to transact their NBI clearances at the Manila Central Post Office,” Postmaster General Joel Otarra said.
In addition to its mandate to deliver mails and parcels, PHLPost was given the task to assist other agencies of the government in providing services that offer public documents necessary in their day to day activities.
PHLPost shall be a one-stop online government transaction center, bringing public services closer to the consumers through its existing network of post offices and postal stations in the country.
President Rodrigo Duterte wanted to transact government documents conveniently, hassle free, and lesser cost to the public.
PHLPost has the network of more than 1,300 post offices and postal stations nationwide. (PR)
