RADIO commentator Donard Nojas is still confined at a hospital in Bacolod City after he was arrested for libel at his house in Alijis Village Saturday night, September 30.

Senior Inspector Ramel Sarona, head of Police Station 7, said Nojas, 48, has an arrest warrant issued by Judge Raymond Joseph Javier of Regional Trial Court Branch 56 in Himamaylan City, Negros Occidental.

The court set a bail of P10,000 for his provisional liberty.

The libel case stemmed from a complaint filed by a village chief in Himamaylan City.

Sarona said Nojas was placed under hospital arrest after he suffered high blood pressure during his apprehension.

Nojas, in an interview, said he considered the case as harassment.
