JORDAN Clarkson and Julius Randle combine for 56 points as they help their Lakers run past the New York Knicks.
It was a back-and-forth game for both teams as the Lakers used their fast-pace offense and the Knicks using their brilliant offense to keep the game up close and not letting the opposing team lead by as much as ten points.
Jordan Clarkson had 14 points by the end of the first half.
It was during the third quarter that the Lakers seemingly had control of the game as Lakers player, Alex Caruso facilitated the ball movement for the Lakers and had career highs with 9 points and 8 assists.
Turnovers were an issue for the Knicks as the Lakers converted those turnover to fast break points.
Randle was a beast for the Lakers in the paint as he had 12 rebounds going along with his 27 points.
Despite the Knicks shooting a brilliant 54 percent from the field, they were not able to shoot their way out in the fourth quarter making only 18 points as the Lakers made 30.
The Knicks’ Tim Hardaway Jr., Kristap Przingis and Michael Beasly had 17 each in their loss for the Knicks. New York is now 21-26 in the season.
Randle and Clarkson had help from their bench with Kyle Kuma scoring 15 and Larry Nance Jr. with 13. The Lakers will face the Boston Celtics next who lost their third straight game today against the Orlando Magic. (Frankl Glarino, USC AB Communications Intern/VoxPop Philippines)
