“TRY to remember a day in September...when leaves were green... and...oh, so mellow...” I love the lyrics and melody of the song. September is the best time to travel, too. Silkair is sponsoring a media tour in Singapore on Sept. 25-30.
As usual, September is filled with songs, scenes and souvenirs.
The 87th birthday celebration of Norberto “NQ” Quisumbing Jr. at Oakridge Pavilion was a family affair with long-time friends and “Norkisans.” Daughter Pinky and children, with the ever-efficient Charlotte, put together an evening of music by the Renaissance band and culinary delights of Japanese and Pinoy dishes.
For 39 years, Msgr. Joselito D. Tajanlangit had celebrated the birthday mass, and this year was no exemption. Sonny and I have always been there. We owe NQ so much in many of our entrepreneurial and socio-academic projects. His beloved Britta (+) and children have been very good to us.
NQ recalled his meaningful projects not only in Norkis, but also in the Punla scholarships at the University of San Jose-Recoletos High School.
Cheers to more years!
