THE Rizal Memorial College (RMC) Bulldogs clinched the Private School Athletic Association (Prisaa) Meet men's football title after beating Agro Industrial Foundation College of the Philippines (AIFCP), 6-1, Monday at the Tionko football field.
The Bulldogs, thus, booked a ticket to the Southern Mindanao Prisaa Meet slated March 31 to April 2 in Tagum City.
Khadaffy Biruar, who positioned in the right back of the field, rifled Bulldog's first goal in the 15th minute before gauging an accurate marker in 24th minute.
Bulldog's striker Warren Ravanes also converted a play in the 26th minute before his fellow striker Jeylou Colandog scored another marker for RMC in 34th to extend a 4-0 lead.
Noel Teves kicked in RMC's 5th point at the right wing area in the 42nd minute as Biruar sealed the final goal for RMC in the 59th.
CJ Inles didn't give up easily as he made the lone goal for AIFC in the dying minute of the match.
Coach Albert Lim, in an interview with VoxPop Davao, said they trained everyday to win the championship as they set their eyes on the regional finals.
"We will also select three players from UM (University of Mindanao) and one from AIFC to strengthen the Davao City team," the RMC sports director said, who give his athletes the credit for playing their hearts out.
