PLDT Home hosted an exclusive launch at the Shangri-La at the Fort to mark this breakthrough innovation and partnership, creating another first in Philippine history. The evening’s guests included industry leader PLDT Chairman Manny Pangilinan, prominent beauty titlists, A-list celebrities and influencers like Tweety de Leon, Franco Laurel, and the Eat Bulaga cast of Vic and Pauleen Sotto, Ruby Rodriguez, among others. Miss Universe 2015 and PLDT Home ambassador Pia Wurtzbach hosted the night’s affair along with Filipino-British rugby player Andrew Wolff.
Guests were treated to an entertainment spectacle enabled by the Roku Powered TVolution and PLDT Home Fibr which delivers world-class broadband of up to 1 Gbps and enables equal upload and download speeds. They were given first-hand experience on the box’s user-friendly features and fascinating content. Existing PLDT Home Fibr subscribers will be the first to enjoy the new Roku Powered TVolution for only an additional P199 per month that comes with the device.
