ASIAN Boxing Federation (ABF) junior flyweight champion Merlito “Tiger” Sabillo (27-4-1) and Oriental and Pacific Boxing Federation (OPBF) junior flyweight champion Edward “El Heneral” Heno (11-0-5) will headline today’s official weigh-in of the Civil War – Champion vs Champion at 10:30 a.m. at the Gaisano Grand mall in Bacolod City.
Both fighters will figure in tomorrow’s main event presented by Highland International Boxing Promotion.
In the undercard is Bacolod’s John Michael Zulueta going up against Ebonito Loperez of Davao City for the eight-round clash at 109 lbs.
La Tinidad’s Rey Loreto and Ryan Lumacad will face Arnold Garde of Davao City and Brian Diano of Cagayan de Oro, respectively.
Loreto will take Garde in an eight-round tussle at 108 lbs. while Lumacad will have Diano in an eight-round fight at 119 lbs.
This event is supervised by the Games and Amusement Board headed by Chairman Abraham Kahlil Mitra. (HGD)
