THE Sacred Heart School (SHS)-Ateneo de Cebu emerged overall champion after harvesting 10 gold medals, five silvers, and two bronzes in just-concluded Jesuit Athletic Meet (Jam) 2016 Track and Field held at the Ateneo de Davao University (ADDU) Fr. Martinez Sports Complex track oval in Matina, Davao City.
Enrico Avila led the medal race having clinched four golds in high school boys 200-meter dash, 400m run, 4x100m relay, and 3x300m relay events.
Pearl Angeline Abellar also lived up to her billing by copping three golds in High School girls 100m, 400m, and 4x100m relay.
Elyssa Marriet Roque, Rick Angelo Sotto and Mayol Catherine Dalle added one gold each for SHS’s victory.
Roque ruled the HS girls 200m even as Sotto governed the high school boys 4x100m relay while Dalle topped the HS 800m run.
ADDU, meanwhile, copped one gold, five silvers, and three bronzes.
Edward Moritz Leuenberger clinched the gold in HS boys 800m.
