BOYS and girl scouts take over the provincial office of Benguet for the annual celebration of Scouts for-a-day (Scofad).
On Monday, Benguet Governor Cresencio Pacalso addressed the 90 young scouts as they take roles in the provincial government, national line agencies and the Benguet State University (BSU).
“As young potential leaders of our province and perhaps the country it is all up to you learn from the experiences that is offered for you. We give you all the chances that we can give you for you develop yourselves,” Pacalso said.
Kimberly Bacdayan from Loo National High School was appointed as the Scofad Governor and Ira Sadatek Borja as the Scofad Vice-Governor from BSU-Secondary Laboratory School.
Benguet Executive Marie Glo Ramos Dawagui of the Boy Scout of the Philippines said the selection was made based on the achievement of the scouts, their communication, and leadership skills.
Actual meetings and deliberations of 30 scout representatives vying for the Board Member was made with prior guidance of the facilitators while the placement of the other scouts was done through raffle draw.
The Provincial Board Members comprise of Jimler Minas, Vincent Mitas, Rojohn Sabayao, Rayster Shane Lee Bonina, Jimson Marvil, Urven Kent Maximino, Esmer Pilas, Camille Delos Reyes, Edroline Cosme, Jayson Delos Reyes, Theodore Domoguen, Charlie Calubandi, Leann Faith Bugaling and Kayzel Grace Dioso as the Secretary to the Sanggunian.
Provincial Department Heads were Merlet Socte, Jomarson Paleyan, Freniel Budas, Clint Anthony Ignas, Elsa Loren Dosalin, Joshua Maliked, Basilio Pit-ong Jr, Ezra Isaiah Balawag, John Clyde Masado, Jhake Guinsiman, Armi Rose Binwag, Yvonne Delfinado, Ivy Xien Lamsis, Samuel Olivares, Jahn Zora Ebas, and Lhian Claire Pusi.
Regional and Provincial Directors include Jezreel Ace Anhibey, Glenn Bolinget, Benjie Mocyat Jr., Kevin Claud Beray, Agosto Musyoyan, Shimara Sean Baso, Noelle Joy Kilakil, Rhena Joy Aquisio, Charlene Babag, Marinelle Balsina, Benjoshua Bassit, and Rejoice Bedico.
Moreover, BSU President and Vice Presidents were Lianne Gale Akiapat, Audrie Nicole Ventura, Gemaria Tolingan, Sharmaine Rose Lamsis, and Jocelyn Aquiso.
