POLICE are already looking for the mother of a fetus found dead at Purok Lourdes along Carmelite Road in Buhangin, Davao City, on Saturday afternoon, August 27.
The suspect was identified as certain Angel, 22, a resident from Barangay Barpa, R. Castillo in Agdao District.
Initial investigation conducted by Buhangin police showed that the fetus was found by the suspect's cousin at a grassy portion of Purok Lourdes.
Rhodora Alfar Erojog said her niece informed her that she saw Angel bury a square plastic container in the ground.
Erojog said her niece dug the ground where Angel buried the plastic and discovered the fetus inside.
Buhangin police head Chief Inspector Milgrace Driz said a team from their station has conducted a manhunt operation for the possible arrest of the suspect.
The fetus was brought to Angel Funeral Homes in Toril for proper disposition.
