TOP qualifier Romeo Serrano lived up to his billing as he clinched the Davao Tenpin Bowlers Association (Datba) Monthly Finals title Sunday evening, March 5, at the NCCC Mall B3 Center Lanes.
After four games organized by the Datba, Serrano tallied a total of 1,634 pinfalls. He prevailed over Crystal Chavez, Arthur Galendez and Fernie Ballano who occupied the second, third and fourth places, respectively.
Chavez rolled 1,543 pins while Galendez scored 1,536 and Ballano garnered 1,533.
Serrano received P7,000 and a trophy while the next three winners took home P4,000, P2,000 and P1,000.
The 12th Datba National Open Bowling Tournament is set on March 8 to 12 at the same venue.
