THE Sacred Heart School Ateneo de Cebu (SHS-AdC) Batch 1992 donated P250,000 worth of scholarship assistance to Benedicto College Technical Vocational School as the group’s way of giving back to the community.
Headed by Erickson Ong, Kenneth Huan, Ari Clunton Lee, Christopher Chua, Ken Espidido and Mark Garcia, the Batch 1992 decided to come up with a project that aims to provide scholarship assistance to deserving students.
Applicants for the scholarship assistance must be at least 18 years old and high school graduates. Grantees will receive P5,000, and they can choose any technical vocational courses offered by the school.
The scholarship also opens employment opportunities to the graduates since the school is connected with Benedicto Group of Companies.
The SHS-AdC Batch ‘92 will also help in the employment of scholars since most of the batch members have their own establishments and have partnership with the other establishments.
The technical vocational courses include housekeeping, food and beverage, welding, automotive servicing, plumbing, bartending, commercial cooking and computer hardware servicing.
