JOSHUA Benedict Baldonado of St. John’s Institute in Bacolod City was selected as one of the seven boys who will represent the Visayas in the Jr. NBA National Training Camp on May 12 to 14 in Metro Manila.
The 14-year-old Baldonado excelled in the Cebu Regional Selection Camp of the Jr. NBA Philippines 2017 presented by Alaska at the Don Bosco Technical Center on March 11-12.
Also chosen were Rolando Jesus Abad of St. Anthony High School, Nicael Dominie Cabenero of Sacred Heart School Ateneo de Cebu; Deloria, Jericho Deloria of Cebu Eastern College; Jessrey Enriquez of University of San Carlos South Campus; Reinhard Jumamoy of University of San Carlos North Campus; and Zhan Paolo Moreno of Xavier University.
The seven girls were Ynnia Juanne Abella of Sotero B. Cabahug Forum for Literacy; Princess Jeira Delig of Abellana National School; Chinnsai Denana of University of Visayas; Maybelle Retubado of Bulacao Community Highs School; Tara Ramz Sabalones of Montessori Academy of Southern Cebu; Aishe Mae Solis of Marymount Academy; and Mecaellah Frenzie Shane Tagalog of University of Southern Philippines Foundation.
