A NUMBER of celebrities have been the subject of bashing on various social media sites recently.
Kapuso actress and host Solenn Heusaff was forced to respond after a Twitter user called her brother Erwan some nasty names, Philippine Entertainment Portal (Pep) reported.
"Sana patawarin ka ni Lord. Masama kang tao," the "Taste Buddies" host tweeted.
Solenn reacted from a post of a certain Vhonganne who said, "Sana @annecurtissmith mag Break na kayo Ng JowamongPanget at Bakla or sana ay Mamatay na siya."
As if the post was not hurtful enough, the said Twitter account even tagged Anne's younger sister Jasmine Curtis Smith and Solenn.
In a separate report, the online site also revealed that Patrick Garcia's wife, Nikka, was also among the latest victims of social media bashing.
Despite the fact that she is a private person, her connection with the former "Batang PX" actor has not spared her from the rudeness of some.
The basher reportedly sent her serious allegations like "malandi, walang kwenta, pangit, walang konsensya, masarap sagasaan.”
The said basher even sent her a photo of Patrick's ex Jennylyn Mercado to reportedly insinuate that the actress is much prettier and better than her.
“I dunno, I try to understand how someone can be so hateful," Nikka captioned the screen shots of the basher's lengthy message. "I wish them all the best nevertheless! God bless you more!”
Back in May, GMA Network reported that "Eat Bulaga" host Maine Mendoza, who has received numerous negative comments for being paired with Alden Richards, appealed to fans and bashers to finally put an end to fighting and sending negative vibes on social media.
“Sana pala tigilan niyo na ang bangayan sa social media kasi wala talagang magandang naidudulot 'yan,” the YouTube sensation said via a clip shared on Instagram.
“Naku, hayaan niyo nalang ‘yan dahil wala namang problema in the first place. Okay naman ang lahat kaya 'wag na nating palakihin pa at i-big deal ang mga bagay-bagay,” she added.
