KOREAN superstars Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo are getting married this October 31.
According to pep.ph, the agencies of the couple Blossom Entertainment and United Artists Agency, released a joint statement on the couple's marriage Wednesday, July 5.
"First, we would like to express our sincere gratitude to both Korean and international fans who have given their love and interest to Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo. We ask for your understand for this sudden news.
"Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo are planning to hold their marriage on October 31.
"The wedding does not only involve the individuals but also their families and because of this, we had to be careful about the situation.
"Until the wedding was confirmed, we had to be careful about the situation and now we are able to give our official position.
"We ask for everyone’s understanding.
"We ask for everyone’s blessing for the beautiful future of the two actors and the two will also share the news individually."
Song Joong Ki, 31, is under Blossom Entertainment while Song Hye Kyo, 35, works for United Artists Agency.
The report added that the couple was spotted in Bali, Indonesia last month. The agencies initially denied the said report.
In another report by koreaboo.com, Song Joong Ki also released a letter to his fans, which was translated into English.
The two actors, dubbed as the "SongSong" couple, co-starred in the hit 2016 Korean TV series "Descendants of the Sun," which gained mainstream success in South Korea and other countries. (VoxPop Philippines)
