ST. JOHN’S Institute (SJI) of Bacolod City guns for the Best Center Small Basketeers of the Philippines (SBP) Visayas Regional Championship this weekend at the Iloilo Sports Complex in Iloilo City.
The Rey Pandora mentored SJI will encounter stiff resistance from Hua Siong College of Iloilo, St. Mary’s Academy of Capiz, and Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu.
SJI scored an emphatic victory against Bacolod Tay Tung High School 79-43 to win the SBP Provincial Leg title last September 23.
Dylan Despi was adjudged as most valuable player in the SBP category. (PR)
