Students, teachers in San Fernando City get film lecture

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO == The San Fernando local government, in partnership with the Film Development Council of the Philippines and Directors’ Guild of the Philippines Inc., conducted on Thursday, June 29 a faculty symposium dubbed as “Planting Seeds: The Future of Philippine Cinema.”

The event, which ended on Friday, June 30, was participated in by senior high school and college teachers of communication and cinematography-related courses from different universities the city.

Guest speakers during the two-day seminar were Carlo Gabriel Pangilinan, Roberto Reyes Ang and Jason Paul Laxamana, who discussed “Understanding Film through Education, Creating Film Synergy in the Student Body, and Basic Tools: A Crash Course on Film making for Educators,” respectively.
