SOME 200 participants will see action in the Philippine Moo Duk Kwan Soo Bahk Do Incorporated (PMDKSBDI) 33rd Summer League Moo Duk Kwan Classing Championships on May 21, 9 a.m., at the NCCC Mall Kadayawan Hall.
Philippine Moo Duk Kwan management committee staff Carlo Laude, in a Facebook interview with VoxPop Davao, said the defending champion Blue Warriors of Davao City, under Kyo Sa Angela Grandeza, will try to keep its crown against Lions MDK, Hedojar MDK and Valiant Lords MDK of Davao City, Black Cat MDK of Panabo City, Korean Martial Art Training Gym Inc. of General Santos City, Timayod MDK and Diamond Fighters MDK of Kidapawan City and Cotabato MDK of Cotabato City.
The free admission event will feature hyung or kata competition and freestyle sparring (punches to the body, ground fight and all kicks to both head and body).
Participants will vie in over 50 categories including the beginners and advance divisions.
The top three winners in each category will receive medals.
