ANTI-NARCOTICS police operatives arrested a town hall worker of Tagoloan, Misamis Oriental and another woman in a drug bust over the weekend.
The drug suspects was identified as Rey Marcial, a driver of the local government unit of Tagoloan, and Ma. Amaneyl Lumindas, a resident of Villanueva, Misamis Oriental.
Police said the two yielded a sachet of suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride or 'shabu' during the operation last Saturday, February 3.
During the body search, four sachets of crystal meth were found in the possession of Marcial and another sachet from Lumindas.
Senior Inspector Corrine Mae Estigoy, spokesperson of the Misamis Oriental Provincial Police Office, said another companion of the two was able to evade arrest during the operation.
She said the two were friends as Lumindas allegedly gets her shabu supply from Marcial.
"Jobless yan si Lumindas pero pusher din siya sa Villanueva at kay Marcial siya kumukuha ng supply,"Estigoy said.
Estigoy said Marcial allegedly used to supply the prohibited drugs in the towns of Tagoloan, Villanueva, Jasaan and Bugo in Cagayan de Oro City.
The male suspect was also included in the drug watch list as high value target of Tagoloan town police. He was long been monitored by the intelligence operatives.
"Nag-successful ang test buy sa kanya kaya naging tuloy-tuloy ang operation,"Estigoy said.
Estigoy said the suspect has been cooperative in revealing names of other drug suspects which are subject for surveillance and monitoring.
The two drug personalities will face illegal drug charges.
