Also in the plans are the renovation of the city public market and transport terminal.
Lizares presented on Monday two advanced rescue medic vehicles, which are brand-new Toyota vans fully customized with complete medical equipment and supplies.
He also bared that next year, the city will earmark P7 million for the acquisition of rescue vehicles that would include a highway rescue truck, and additional ambulance and vehicle for Talisay City Police Station.
Drug test
Lizares said that out of more than 750 city employees who were made to undergo drug test, 10 got positive results for use of illegal drugs.
Lizares said the concerned employees will be informed and they will be given chance to undergo drug test for the second time and will be made to undergo counseling.
