BACOLOD City Councilor Ricardo Tan denied Tuesday, May 9 that he has forged an alliance with Abang Lingkod party-list Representative Stephen Paduano for their tandem in the 2019 elections.
Reports said that Tan, who has declared his intention to run for congressman in the Lone District of Bacolod, will choose Paduano for mayor.
“I have talked to Caraps (Paduano) about some other things but we did not discuss politics,” he said.
Paduano had denied reports that he is running for mayor.
Meanwhile, Tan said he has a hospital fund of P7.5 million at the Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital for indigent patients.
Indigents can bring their hospital bills with deduction from their Philhealth coverage to his office, he added.
Tan said he also has an educational assistance for 20 students this school year.
