CLARK FREEPORT -- Tarlac Governor Susan Yap has urged all officials of her province to "start thinking first world."

She made the statement during the recent third leg of the Clark Development Stakeholders’ Roadshow.

The event featured updates on President Duterte’s Build Build Build Infrastructure program, which includes the Clark Green City, Manila to Clark Railway System, and the Subic to Clark Cargo Railway System.

“All local government units of Tarlac should start working together alongside the Bases Conversion and Development Authority, Clark International Airport Corporation, and the Clark Development Corporation for the development of the aforementioned projects,” Yap said.

“Let us dream bigger. It’s high time for us to think first world as we are reaching a 9 percent GDP (Gross Domestic Product) growth here in Central Luzon,” she emphasized.

“Finally, Region 3 was given the attention it deserves, and the bulk of it [Build Build Build Infrastructure program] will be here. This is very exciting for Tarlac, and for the region since our dreams are becoming clearer and more coherent,” Yap ended. (PIA 3)
