TARLAC CITY -- A total of 2,019 graduating students at the Tarlac State University and Tarlac Agricultural University recently attended a labor seminar by the Department of Labor and Employment (Dole) and Provincial Public Employment Service Office (Peso).
“We have intensified the Labor Education for Graduating Students (Legs) seminar program in colleges and universities in Central Luzon to prepare future workers on work ethics and culture of productive and decent work,” Dole Regional Director Ana Dione said.
Topics discussed included management rights, general labor standards, and occupational safety and health standards.
Aside from these, the speakers also tackled comprehensive guide and insights on proven practices, tips in applying and getting hired on desired jobs, and the programs and welfare services offered by Dole and the Peso. (PR)
