DEFENDING champion Teleperformance (TP) and Sutherland led their respective brackets in the resumption of the Davao Inter-Business Processing Outsourcing (BPO) League held at the Montaña Recreation and Fitness Center, Incorporated along Dacudao Avenue in Agdao, Davao City Sunday, May 8.
TP, which beat VXI SM in their debut game 48-40, whipped Offsourcing Philippines, 62-49, to top bracket B in the event sanctioned by the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP) Davao Region.
TP center Levi Ochate canned 11 points, grabbed seven rebounds and one assist as his team remained unbeaten after two outings.
Sutherland, meanwhile, subdued Callbox, 58-47, to pace bracket A.
The win came on the heels of crushing Demand Science 66-52 on April 30 at Almendras Gym Davao City Recreation Center (DCRC).
Venus Ratilla made 12 points for Sutherland.
In other matches, Convergy's posted a lopsided 56-31 victory over Next BPO while Ibex Global routed Demand Science, 49-26.
Iqor, for its part, edged Focusinc, 51-50, behind the services of John Roel Morante who sizzled with 19 points on top of two rebounds, two steals and one assist.
Conecty's, meanwhile, eked out a 44-38 win over Alorica. Nash Ignacio of Conecty's poured in 29 points.
The cagefest will resume on Sunday at the same venue. (ABM)
