RAYMUND Livioco took the lead in the first of seven qualifying dates with a promising two-set score of 1,290 pin falls in the ongoing Tenpin Masters Challenge (TMC) Season Four monthly qualifiers at Lopue’s East Bowling Center (LEBC) in Bacolod City.
Livioco has 15 pins handicap each game and a scratch average of 200 for six games.
After finishing third in the November shootout-finale, he set a highest of 686 pfs in the opening date on January 4 and registered 514 in his second set of games.
Running second Nap Pedreso trailed behind by 64 pins while Jasper Quimanhan was down by 77. The top rank bowler in the qualifiers will be given a special prize.
Rounding up the top 15 bowlers: Pedreso – 1,226; Quimanhan – 1,213; Ariel Yelo – 1,210; Jun Pamatian – 1,199; Billy Lopue – 1,183; Larnie Vencer –1,155; Herman Santos – 1,149; Toto Ong – 1,140; Paul Pacis – 1,139; Elmer Libo-on – 1,129; Jack Palermo – 1,120; Pat Mendoza – 1,095; OJ Lopue –1,090; and Boyet Bullos – 1,087.
Top fifteen qualifiers will play in the Masters Event for five-game elimination round on January 30. Prizes are up to top five but only the top four will advance to the Shoot-Out Finale.
The oiling pattern that was chosen for this month was LEBC#1 which is 48 feet and has a total volume of 19.96 ml.
This season’s TMC is organized by the officers of Sugarbowl Tenpin Association Inc. and played every Tuesdays and Thursdays. (HGD)
