BAM Tongo clinched the Datba Weekly Qualifying Tournament held at the NCCC Mall B3 Center lanes Tuesday evening.
The youth bowler who is the son of lawyer Rodrigo Tongo earned a spot in the monthly finals after tallying a total of 852 pinfalls after four games in the event organized by the Davao Tenpin Bowlers Association.
He beat veteran Ronald Martin and Manman Nierra who placed second and third, respectively.
Martin earned 835 pinfalls while Nierra amassed 771.
Tongo pocketed P900 while Martin and Nierra received P500 and P300, respectively. (ABM)
