THE Davao Tourism Association (Data) is set to spearhead two major city tourism events this February at the Abreeza Ayala Mall.
Data officials said on Thursday, January 26, during the Turismo Café at Abreeza Ayala Mall, they are set to hold the Naitas Davao Travel and Tradeshow on February 3 to 5 and the 8th Davao Mega Travel Sale on February 17 to 19.
The Naitas Davao Travel and Tradeshow is an annual event usually held on February where booth bazaars of different hotels, airlines, tourist destinations, travel agencies, and restaurants, among others will be stationed at the activity center.
Naitas Davao’s yearly objective is promoting Davao Region’s agricultural and eco-tourism sites, Data expects this year’s Naitas Davao Travel and Tradeshow will be as successful as of the previous years.
The three-day 8th Davao Mega Travel Sale will showcase airlines, cruise, and travel operators.
Plane and cruise ticket prices will be on sale with available travel dates anytime this year for both domestic and international destinations.
This activity is also in line with the 20th anniversary of SilkAir Flights Singapore and the airline will also sponsor the said event.
Among the other sponsors are Cebu Pacific, Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI), and Cathay Pacific. Awards will be given to purchases made through BPI credit cards.
