Training academy opens December 11

THE Muscle Power Agility and Conditioning (MPAC) Basketball Elite Training Academy, which provides an international quality of training and strength conditioning, will get underway on December 11 at the Gaisano Grand Citimall Sky Gym in Davao City.

MPAC Business and Program Coordinator Rael Diaz said the academy has been operating for nine years in the region, serving some of the world’s best players, coaches and teams as well as offering local coaching and organize basketball competition platforms to compete in the highest level.

“This is first time in the Philippines as well as Asia, kaya we are lucky to have such an effective training academy for our athletes,” he said.

Diaz also said international coaches will train the participants and assured to gain the highest quality training of skills techniques, strength, and conditioning programs.

He added once registered, there will be a daily coaching session for participants from ages five to 18 years old every after school classes, adding that they will also hold youth and elite basketball tournaments during summer.

Diaz also said apart from basketball training, the academy also provides a positive environment that promotes great work ethics which would improve the athletes’ self-esteem and teach them the fundamentals of the game.

MPAC aims provide a developmental pathway and provide an elite-class experience for the youth of all ages and abilities.
