MISAMIS Oriental General Comprehensive High School (MOGCHS) pulled twin victories against separate rivals in the ongoing second Cagayan de Oro Inter-Public School Basketball Tournament at West City Central School covered courts here in Carmen village.
The MOGCHS Cavaliers posted their second straight win in secondary boys, and so their female counterparts—the MOGCHS BBG in the secondary girls level.
Inspired by their new set of uniforms, the Cavaliers demolished the Macasandig National High School Southern Stars, 78-61.
From 16 points in his maiden outing, Jerome Jalalon was all fired up in his next performance with the Cavaliers that saw him banged in 21.
“Inspired sila pagdula tungod sa ilang bag-ong uniform,” said tournament director Raul Fuentes.
In the distaff side, the lady BBGs dumped Carmen National High School lady Thunders by a mind-boggling 60 points, 82-22.
Rah Maica Alevas finished 16 puntos to set new leadership in the team along with her senior teammate, Honey Janobas.
Other Sunday results saw East Gusa National High School Phoenix defeating Tablon National High School Archers, 54-49 in secondary boys and Pagatpat Elementary School Spartans edging Kauswagan Central School Warriors, 36-34 in elementary division.
