THE Rizal Memorial College (RMC) will host the opening ceremony of the Unit 5 line meet slated September 28 at 8 a.m. at the newly-refurnished RMC gym.
RMC athletic director and Davao Region Football Association (DRFA) technical director Albert "Abing" Lim, in a phone interview with VoxPop Davao, said RMC chairman Leo Magno, RMC vice president lawyer Ernesto Raphael Robillo and Unit 5 chairperson Ma. Lita Montalban will grace the event.
Lim also said that 20 private schools members of Unit 5 will see action including RMC, Emar Human and Environmental College, University of Mindanao, Agro-Industrial Foundation College of the Philippines, General
Baptist Bible College and Abbas Child Science School.
The meet will feature athletics, badminton, chess, football, taekwondo, billiards, goalball and table tennis, among others.
However, track and field events as well as sepak takraw, basketball and volleyball matches will start on September 26 and 27. (ABM)
