UNIVERSITY of Negros Occidental-Recoletos/Red House Taiwan Shabu Shabu dominated Japs Sports Wear, 82- 69 to emerge as champions in the just-concluded Valladolid Open Basketball Tournament.
The 2017 Negros Occidental Private School Sports, Cultural and Educational Association men’s basketball runner-up outplayed teams from Silvergraces, Pontevedra, San Enrique, Super Twin, and host-Valladolid.
The champion team managed by Jomarie Gilbor has veteran players, including Patrick Yulo, Japhet Claridad, John Catague, Marvin Sanico, Ritcher Santillan and Kim Dimaranan. (HGD)
